Projects Receive Federal Funding

Maryland’s two United States Senators have combined to deliver funding for two projects in Allegany County. Senators Chris Van Hollen and Angela Alsobrooks announced that Frostburg State University’s planetarium will receive 2.8 million dollars in new equipment. There was also positive news for Canal Place as $500,000 has been awarded for sediment testing and remediation of the dam at the Potomac River for part of the River Park project.
