“Job growth picked up in January. The Labor Department says 130,000 jobs were created, double most estimates, and the unemployment rate declines to 4.3%. November and December reports were revised to indicate 17,000 fewer jobs than initially reported. There is also a severe downward revision for the number of jobs created at the end of the Biden administration into the start of the Trump presidency.”
