WV Congressman Happy Over Trump Coal Call

President Donald Trump is encouraging the continued use of fossil fuels to power the country, especially calling on the use of coal. Over $170 million dollars is being directed to revitalize coal power plants, including three in West Virginia. In addition, Trump signed an order directing the Department of Defense to buy coal to power military plants. Mountain State Congressman Riley Moore said the industry deserves attention…
“We’ve not had anybody – anybody in the United States Government help the coal industry in my lifetime and this is the first time that the government is recognizing what a critical role we play in producing abundant and reliable energy here in the United States.”
