Animal Shelter Actively Accepting Donations

The Allegany County Animal Shelter is currently receiving donations and actively applying for grants.  As the shelter works to become a nonprofit, Director Jodi Ehrich told the WCBC Newsroom the grants she is applying for target specific needs rather than granting funds in general.  Donations are being accepted through checks or through the shelter’s account with the Community Trust Foundation, according to Ehrich…

“Go to our website, it’ll tell you an address where you can send a check, but also we have a link to our account at Community Trust.  The only thing about that link, it’s really important that people write that it’s for the Animal Shelter, and we’re calling that account Friends of the Allegany County Animal Shelter.”
