Sphere Development Huge For State

State and county leaders recently appeared at National Harbor to discuss the economic impact of the announcement that Sphere Entertainment is planning a location in Prince Georges County. The Sphere at National Harbor would be a slightly smaller version of the popular entertainment destination in Las Vegas. Another Sphere location is also being planned for Abu Dhabi. “Once completed, we are going to have 7,100 jobs when it’s operational and $1.3 billion dollars annually that the new Sphere is going to generate. And that includes around 3,600 jobs during the construction phases alone.”
