City Cited In Lawsuit
The City of Cumberland has been named in a lawsuit by two employees for unlawful employment practices including a hostile work environment, sexual harassment and retaliation. Robert Iliff and Derek Weide are charging that their supervisor Jeff Harden engaged in sexual harassment of the two and that the city, after putting Harden on administrative leave, returned him to a position of authority over the two men. Harden no longer works for the city. City Administrator Jeff Silka told the Cumberland Times-News that he cannot comment on pending litigation.
