Two new candidates are now on the ballot for the June primary in Allegany County. On Monday Carol Taccino of Cumberland filed for Allegany County Commissioner as a Democrat. Caren Phillips Kurtz of Lavale is now a candidate for the Board of Education. The deadline to file is Tuesday at 9 p.m.
