Attorney General Files Suit Over Vaccine Schedules

Maryland has joined a lawsuit challenging the Trump administration’s overhaul of the nation’s childhood immunization schedule. The suit centers a January decision from the CDC removing seven childhood vaccines against diseases and viruses including rotavirus, hepatitis, and RSV from universally recommended status. The suit alleges the decision was not based on any scientific evidence, recommendations, or systematic review. Maryland continues to follow the vaccine schedule established by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
