Adult Arrests

On Monday, March 2nd, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Joshua Michael Clark Sr. in connection with an assault investigation.
The arrest stems from an incident that occurred on February 27th, 2026. Following the investigation, charges were filed with the Allegany County Commissioners’ Office, which subsequently issued a warrant for Clark’s arrest.
Clark was taken into custody and transported to the Allegany County Detention Center. He was later released on a $2,500 unsecured personal bond.

On Monday, March 2nd, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Sherman Edward Denmark. Denmark was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on February 27th, 2026. The warrant alleged that Denmark violated the terms and conditions of probation due to a previous conviction for Trespassing-Posted Property. Denmark appeared before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance. He is currently being held without bond.

On Monday, March 2nd, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Irving Charles Fletcher Jr. Fletcher was arrested on a Circuit Court body attachment issued by the Allegany County Circuit Court on May 28th, 2025, for child support. He was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance, where he was released after posting a $100 bond.

Charge: Arrest Warrant – Child Support
On Monday, March 2nd, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served Keshaun Ayodele Dada with a criminal summons for theft less than $100.00. The charges stem from an incident on December 20th, 2025, when officers responded to a theft complaint at a business in the 400 Block of Virginia Avenue.
It is alleged that Dada exited the business without paying for a product. An investigating officer reviewed video surveillance from the business and positively identified Dada as the suspect. Charges were subsequently filed through the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office, and a criminal summons was issued.
Dada signed for his copy of the summons and was released pending trial.
