UPMC Wins Minogue Award

UPMC Western Maryland is a 2026 Minogue Award winner for Patient Safety Innovation given by the Mid-Atlantic Patient Safety Center. The award honors healthcare teams demonstrating measurable, innovative and sustained improvements in safety, quality and equity. UPMC was one of eight Circle of Honor winners recognized for “We All Have Skin in the Game: Preventing Pressure Injuries Together.” The award highlights the hospital’s efforts in preventing hospital-acquired pressure injuries and recognizes it as a leading practice that transforms care delivery.
