Pear Street Child Abuse Assault Arrest

On Thursday, March 12th, the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 200 Block of Pear Street for a 911 Hang-up call. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a victim who reported being assaulted by Lauren Colleen Colmer. Officers observed injuries consistent with the victim’s statement. Lauren Colmer was arrested at the scene and transported to the Allegany County Detention Center. A District Court Commissioner held her Initial Appearance, after which she was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. She is currently being held without bond.
