AARP Foundation Provides Free Tax-Aide

There’s still time to take advantage of free tax assistance available through AARP’s Foundation Tax-Aide. The foundation serves as the nation’s largest free, volunteer-based tax assistance program with 28,000 IRS-certified volunteers. Tax-Aide offers in-person and virtual tax prep and filing services through April 15.  Vice President Mioshi Moses says seniors are their focus, but help is available for everyone…

“We really focus on older adults with low to moderate income.  You don’t have to be a member of AARP, and we really like to emphasize that we’re focused on those returns that are a part of our training which are the more simple, flat returns that we’ll find on the 1040.”
