Gas Prices Continue Upward Trend

Prices for gasoline continue to rise in the region as well as across the country. On March 10^th, WCBC reported that gas prices in Allegany County were averaging $3.50 per gallon for regular unleaded. That was up 12% from the month prior. Now, the average in the county is $3.78, an increase of 8% in under two weeks. The national average price, according to AAA, is $3.84 per gallon. Maryland has the 14^th highest gas prices in the nation. California drivers are paying an average of $5.56 per gallon.
