UMBC Poll Shows Drop In Moore Approval

The latest poll from the UMBC Institute of Politics is showing an increased disapproval rating for Maryland Governor Wes Moore. In October of 2024, the governor held a 54% approval rating among Marylanders. That dropped to 52% this past October, and now stands at just 42% showing approval of Moore’s job in office. Of the 804 residents polled, 27% pointed to raised taxes and fees for their negative rating while 24% said poor leadership and dishonesty shaped their decision.
