Buckel Sponsors Chatbots Legislation

House Minority Leader Jason Buckel has legislation now pending in the Senate to create regulation and liability around artificial intelligence chatbots. In the House, Bill 952 passed 123-4. The bill establishes guardrails for the use of companion chatbots to protect against deceptive, harmful, or manipulative interactions. Buckel said his young son is one reason for the bill…
