Maryland Introduces ‘Resilient Maryland Strategy’

This week is Maryland Severe Storms Awareness week when the Department of Emergency Management and National Weather Service focus on preparedness and tornado drill preparation.  This year marks the rollout of the Resilient Maryland Strategy, a long-term roadmap for building resilience statewide.  This covers 20 goals and 50 recommendations regarding environment and natural systems, housing, community and local government capacity, food systems, and critical infrastructure.
