Cole Street 2nd Degree Assault Arrest

On Wednesday, April 8th, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence in the 200 block of Cole St for a report of an assault. Upon arrival, Officers contacted a 92-year-old victim who alleged that they had been assaulted in their home by another family member. Officers observed the victim to have signs of injury to the hand and leg. As a result of the investigation, Sharon Linn McLuckie, 67, was placed under arrest. McLuckie was transported to the Central Booking Unit at the Allegany County Detention Center where she awaits an Initial Appearance with a District Court Commissioner.

ARRESTED – Sharon Linn McLuckie, 67yo.
CHARGES – Assault 2nd Degree, Vulnerable Adult Abuse/Family Member.
