At-Will Employment Hurts Worker Rights In Maryland

Maryland workers would have improved job security under a just-cause standard, rather than the state’s current employment at-will system. “These high-level employees, they understand that without a contract, their positions are precarious. And so I think that same should also be applied to the everyday person as well who’s working retail, a bus driver, gas station attendants, what have you.”
