Greene Street Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Disorderly Conduct Arrest
On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Alan Young. The warrant was issued as the result of an incident that occurred on April 16, 2026 in the first block of Greene Street. The alleged victim reported that Young produced a knife and threatened her with it. After further investigation, police filed for charges against Young at the District Court of Allegany County. Young was arrested and transported to Central Booking. He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.
