Statewide Childcare Opportunities Expanding for WV Workers

Childcare opportunities remain a major topic with West Virginia businesses, according to House of Delegates’ Speaker Roger Hanshaw.  After piloting a tri-share childcare effort involving employee, employer, and grant funding contributions, the program was included in the state’s FY 27 budget as a statewide initiative.  Hanshaw said the piloted program reduced childcare costs by two-thirds for the employee…
