Mineral County Race Endorsements Differ Within Party

The race for Mineral County’s District 87 House of Delegates seat has seen Republican Congressman Riley Moore and U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito put their support behind the incumbent in the race, Gary Howell. However, Governor Patrick Morrisey has endorsed the other Republican in the race, Charles “Dutch” Staggs, currently a Mineral County Commissioner. Democrat Rebecca Holler is also running for the Delegate seat. She has received endorsement from the West Virginia AFL-CIO.
