Western Maryland Democratic Summit This Weekend

Democrats from across the state will be convening in Hagerstown this weekend for the 22nd Annual Western Maryland Democratic Summit. After an opening reception Friday night, Saturday will be filled with special guest speakers from the party’s state and federal delegations including a keynote address from Speaker of the Maryland House of Delegates Joseline Pena-Melnyk.   The party’s theme of  “Contest Every Seat,” free and fair elections, youth voting, and winning in rural areas are among the topics to be discussed throughout the day. The event is being held at Hub City Vinyl on Baltimore Street in Hagerstown.
