Services Set for Jan Alderton

Former Times-News editor Jan Alderton died Thursday at the age of 79.  Visitation will be held at Scarpelli Funeral Home on Virginia Avenue Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. and Thursday from 10-11 a.m.  Father Mark Carter will officiate at the funeral service at Scarpelli’s at 11 a.m. Thursday.
