Cumberland Police Make CDS Arrest

On May 16th, 2026 at approximately 1:00 p.m., an officer from the Cumberland Police Department responded to a business in the 100 block of N. Centre Street for a theft complaint. Upon arrival, an employee contacted the officer and advised that Christopher Lee Kaylor had consumed beverages from inside the business and left the property without payment. The officer observed video surveillance of the incident and subsequently placed Kaylor under arrest for theft. Officers conducted a search incident to arrest and located a clear baggie with CDS residue on Kaylor. He received two citations and was released from the scene pending trial at District Court.
