Ballot Issue Draws Eye of Trump

The Maryland Board of Elections taking flak over an error on mail-in ballots for the June 23 primary election.  The ballots were mailed May 9 and contain mistakes for some voters regarding party affiliation.  The snafu drew the attention of Maryland lawmakers seeking guidance for voters and President Trump who wants an investigation into the issue…

“500,000 ballots, illegal ballots were sent out and they were totally fraudulent. And then they said, ‘oh, we’ll pull them back.’ Well, they didn’t pull them back and 500,000 new ballots go out. So what happens to the original? Are they going to come in – are they going to come in and infect our system?”
