Arch Street Assault Arrest

On Thursday, May 20th, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence in the 300 block of Arch St regarding an assault involving juveniles. While investigating the matter on scene, a parent of an involved juvenile arrived. The subject immediately began to yell and create a loud disturbance, removing his shirt and attempting to fight others on the scene. The subject refused to cease his behaviors and continued to be disorderly, leading officers to arrest him. The subject, Christopher Michael Com,ire, 35, of Cumberland MD appeared before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance and was released on his own recognizance.

ARRESTED – Christopher Michael Comire, 35yo.
CHARGES – Obstructing and Hindering x2, Failure to Obey Lawful Order, Disorderly Conduct.
