Ascend WV—launched in 2021, has received nearly 90,000 applications and has helped 1,400 people from 48 states and 8 countries relocate to West Virginia. Governor Patrick Morrisey says a new program called Ascend Heroes will specifically welcome working men and women who have served the country by offering financial incentives and access to Ascend communities across the state…

“Ascend Heroes offers a $12,000 incentive for veterans to move to West Virginia with the flexibility to receive these funds or use them to help purchase a home.”
