Bishop Walsh Holds Graduation

Bishop Walsh School held its graduation Mass and commencement ceremonies Friday evening at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Cumberland.  The top award winner was Mani Vahedi, who delivered the valedictory address, was named the exemplary male student, and won awards as the top student in chemistry, biology, and math.  The second highest average belonged to Marina Williams, who delivered the welcoming address, was named the exemplary female student, and won awards as the top student in English, Spanish, and Social Studies.  Father Scott Kady, pastor of Divine Mercy Parish, delivered the homily at Mass.
