Clement Street Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest

On Tuesday, May 26th, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department responded to the area of Clement St for the report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers located a shirtless male, yelling and creating a public disturbance. Officers ordered the male to cease his disruptive behavior and return home, which he initially complied. Shortly after clearing the area, officers were called to return to the area, where the male had again resumed his disruptive behavior. As a result, Jason Apollo Crabtree, 49, of Cumberland,MD, was placed under arrest. Crabtree was transported to the Central Booking Unit of the Allegany County Detention Center where he is currently awaiting his Initial Appearance.
