Times-News Announces Price Adjustment

The Cumberland Times-News is informing it subscribers that there will be a price adjustment beginning July 1st of this year. An increase of $3.85 per month we’ll take effect and Maryland residents will continue to pay a 6% sales tax. The newspaper notes that “The past few years have been challenging, and rising costs has impacted many businesses, including the newspaper industry.” The rate adjustment will enable the newspaper to continue to provide news content and delivery service. This will also enable subscribers to access the newspapers e-edition and enhance content including breaking news, videos, photo galleries and a new monthly digital eBook.
