McCuskey Urges Delay on DOE Rules

West Virginia Attorney General is urging the Department of Energy to rescind rules on two Biden-era programs that would harm households and businesses in the state. The DOE rules would make it illegal to manufacture non-condensing gas water heaters and residential furnaces as early as October. McCuskey says the ban puts an undo economic burden on residents who would need to retrofit systems or purchase alternative appliances.
