Gas Prices See Small Bump

After a drop in fuel prices, it looks like gasoline in Allegany County is inching its way back up. GasBuddy reports the average price per gallon for regular unleaded in the county is now $4.29, up ten cents from a week ago.  The average price in Maryland is $3.94. For diesel fuel, the price is around $5.08 per gallon.  Last year at this time, averages were $2.98 for regular and $3.55 for diesel. Maryland’s gas tax will have an increase July 1 of six-tenths of a penny to 46.6 cents per gallon.
