The West Virginia Democratic Party is giving Mike Pushkin another four years as head of the state group. Pushkin, a delegate from Kanawha County, will continue to lead the party after Democratic Party Vice Chair Teresa Toriseva brought a challenge for the position, but lost in a 43 to 32 vote. “Basic kitchen table issues. How much it costs to keep the air conditioning on at their house, how much it costs to fill up a tank of gas. Whether or not we have enough funding for our public schools. Whether or not people have access to healthcare. The things that affect the everyday lives of West Virginians.”
