Administrator Not Happy With PSC

Water rates for citizens living in Bel Air, Pinto, Glen Oaks and Highland Estates have reached critical levels, one of the reasons Allegany County government is now taking the step of eminent domain for the water service. County Administrator Jason Bennett tells WCBC that the Public Service Commission has repeatedly done a disservice to those water customers…
“The Public Service Commission is who put us in this place in the first place. They’re the ones that approved these astronomical rates. And we appealed to them multiple times as did many residents out there and the PSC chose to ignore all that. It shows that they might be called the Public Service Commission but they’re not worried about the public apparently.”
