New Area Business Found County Easy To Work With

A new business preparing to open soon in the Frostburg Industrial Park is pleased with how Allegany County government worked to make their plans happen. Clym Environmental already has a facility in Frederick. Branching out to Western Maryland made sense with the area’s growing circular economy. The company will be focused on waste management of biohazard materials. CEO Charles Watts told WCBC that they tried working with Annapolis, but preferred the county’s approach…
“We’ve been over there and we found it like walking in quicksand. And so we needed some folks who were going to help us bring this to fruition so we could create some stimulation in Western Maryland and we could begin to bring economic development that we thought was so needed in this part of the state.”
