Morgan Running For Sheriff Position

Primary Election Day is less than two weeks away and the winner of the Republican primary for sheriff will serve in that post as there is no Democratic opponent.  David Morgan currently works in the sheriff’s department and he told WCBC that he has a long tenure there…

“We have the support of this community. I’m proud to be a part of the department for over 30 years. That’s 30 years of real sheriff’s office experience.”

Morgan added that the sheriff’s department currently works well with other law enforcement agencies…

“The management of the sheriff’s office is top notch. And I would challenge you and the listeners to ask any police officer in this county that they know and trust. You can ask the barrack commander, Lieutenant Stonebreaker at the barrack, you can ask anyone at Cumberland City, Chief Pyles, Chief Costello at Frostburg.”
