Wills Hotel Excited to be in Cumberland

City, county and business leaders were present for Thursday afternoon’s official ribbon cutting of the Wills Hotel located at the corner of Baltimore and Liberty Streets, formerly the Manhattan building constructed just after the Civil war. Darlene Mayes, Regional Operations Manager with the Riley Hotel group, spoke with WCBC News and expressed how excited the hotel is to be in Cumberland…

“The hotel and its ownership, the partners are so excited to be in the city. Everyone has been so welcoming, a lot of times we go into different cities across the country and everybody may not be so welcoming because you feel like, hey here’s this other business coming into town but, we have hired 40 of Cumberland’s finest employees and we’re excited to be a part of this city. So, I just want to say thank you to City of Cumberland for being so great to us.”
