Arrest Made in Virginia Ave. Theft

On Saturday, June 13, 2026, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Virginia Avenue for a reported theft. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a resident who reported that a male subject had entered her backyard and stolen a solar-powered light.

Officers reviewed video surveillance, which identified the suspect as Brian Alan Lindeman. Officers checked the surrounding area and located Lindeman, who was placed under arrest. During a search incident to arrest, officers located suspected CDS paraphernalia in his possession.

Lindeman was transported to police headquarters and later released on criminal citations.
