County Projects Receive State Approval

The Maryland Board of Public Works approved three Allegany County projects during this week’s meeting. The Michael Cresap Museum in Oldtown will receive $100,000 for improvements. The Canaan Valley Institute will receive $100,000 as it works with county agencies for Chesapeake Bay Restoration projects. The board also approved a 204 acre purchase of land in the county from Woodcock Properties.
