The 14th Annual First People’s Tri-State Wing Off at the Allegany County fairgrounds Saturday had an amazing lineup of country music performers and some of the best wings in the region. Rommel Smith, Owner of Hey Crazy Kitchen in Cumberland said that this is the second award at the Tri-State Wing off and believes in chasing his dreams…

“It’s a good feeling, My wife definitely helping me out a lot, 100%. It’s like she carries the whole thing and I just cook!”

Hey Crazy Kitchen received the awarded for Best Overall Wing and Most Unique Wing which was Street Corn sauce.

Brad Winter, Kitchen Manager at Mezzo’s said they did over 3,000 wing in 6 hours and received four awards; Best Dry Rub, Hottest Wing, Best Wing Sauce and Best Booth. Brad tells WCBC News the reason Mezzo’s is the place to be because they got the best stuff…
