Hope Scholarship Program Doubles In Size

West Virginia State Treasurer Larry Pack, who serves as Chairman of the Hope Scholarship Board, announced that over 26,000 students have applied for full funding through the program for the 2026-27 school year. The Hope Scholarship program provides funding to West Virginia K-12 students to pursue private school tuition, homeschooling curriculum, or other approved public school alternatives. The current year cost of the program stands at $155 million. Funding is awarded on a quarterly basis.
