Canvass of Mail In Ballots Begins Thursday

Maryland’s post-election canvass of mail-in ballots for the primary election will begin on Thursday. Local boards of elections will be opening, reviewing, and counting mail-in ballots that have been returned. Members of the public may observe the canvass.  Allegany County plans to complete its canvass by July 6.
