Zilhman Way Assault Arrest

On Tuesday, June 30, 2026, Cumberland Police Department Officers responded to a residence in the 900 Block of Zilhman Way for the report of an assault with a knife. Upon arrival at the scene, the suspect, Fabian Duffus, was located, and a search of his person yielded a knife. An investigation was completed, and as a result, Duffus was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Allegany County Detention Center, where he awaits his initial appearance before a district court commissioner.

CHARGES: Assault 1st Degree (x2), Assault 2nd Degree (x2), Reckless Endangerment.
