Relay For America Passing Through Western Maryland

A single American flag passed by hand mile after mile from the west coast, headed to the Nation’s Capital will be coming through Western Maryland today. Relay for America has encouraged runners from San Francisco to Washington to take the flag for one mile. The relay will travel through Frostburg, along Winchester Road and McMullen Highway onto Route 956 at Northrup Grumman. The run is scheduled to end on July 4^th during the nation’s fireworks display.
