OC Police Watching Out For Takeovers

The Ocean City Police Department is busy preparing for the July 4th holiday weekend. Special preparations are underway in case of any possible takeover events. Takeover events occur when gangs of young people gather quickly in an area causing disruptions. The planning for such events is a social media phenomenon and Ocean City Police are on special alert. An arrest was made in June of a 21-year old woman charged with promoting such a takeover.
