Skatepark Receiving Good Reviews

One year ago, the Riverside Recreation Area in South Cumberland was closed due to spring flooding.  This year baseball and softball have returned to the fields, including the Industrial Softball League.  In addition, a skatepark reviewer from New York came to Cumberland and posted a highly favorable review of the new site with a YouTube video.  Ryan Mackey, Director of Parks and Rec, said there are always people at the skate park…

“We actually had someone with a Facebook page called Breaking Free Skatepark. He must go around and give his rating. He does a really thorough rating on skate parks and he came to ours and he gave us a 5-star rating and it was really great.”
