A newly elected Mayor and town council in Barrackville, West Virginia has resulted in a confusing status for the town’s police department.  A social media post from the police stated that the entire department had been relieved of duty. Prior to that, the police chief had resigned. Fox News’ Matt Murphy has more…

“The move came after Sergeant Adam Hunt claimed he had discovered the department’s evidence room had been entered without authorization and accused town officials of improperly accessing it. Hunt says he and the town’s only other officer were immediately relieved of duty after raising the allegation. Marion County deputies are now handling law enforcement calls while the town figures out its next move.”
