Evergreen Heritage Receives ARC Grant

Grant funding through the Appalachian Regional Commission will allow for experiential enhancements to its Forest Evolution Trail at Evergreen Heritage Center. Senators Chris Van Hollen and Angela Alsobrooks announced that the center received $28,400 to install 5 stations along the trail. “These are interactive learning stations. For example, you’ll be able to measure your wingspan versus that of a red tailed hawk. Or you’ll be able to learn about different butterflies and about different animals that are in the forest.”
