Nearly $20k in Sponsors for 8th Annual Ellerslie Days

The eighth annual Ellerslie Days starts with bingo on Friday at 6pm at the Ellerslie Fire Department.  Starting Saturday at 11am there will be multiple vendors set up in the field behind the Post Office, live music, bounce houses, a mechanical bull and a 70-foot waterslide. Deputy Fire Chief Austin Christner says the fireworks that end the evening are because of generous sponsors…

“We’re almost at twenty-thousand dollars in sponsors.  About a month ago, we weren’t even sure if we were going to have fireworks this year because, you know, the cost of everything went up.  Fireworks almost doubled this year, but thanks to our sponsors, they were able to pull through.  We’ve had fireworks every year except for the first year, so, it’s pretty amazing that we can do this in just the small town that we have.”
