Brown Challenging Buckel For House Seat

Unlike some past elections, Republican Delegate Jason Buckel will face a general election opponent this fall.  Rhiannon Brown has filed to run for the House of Delegates as a Democrat.  Brown told WCBC News that having a choice for voters is important…

“You know, there’s real value in that everybody has a choice to vote for somebody. And has a choice to vote for somebody that they want to win, not because they’re the only person on the ballot.”

Brown added that she feels a strong connection to the area and its aspirations…

“We need better representation in this area. I think I would better represent. I know that I am in the minority and running on the Democratic ticket, The majority of our wants and hopes and dreams really are all pretty much the same.”
